Visiting Juliet’s House in 2026: A Guide to the New Rules and Reservations


Starting April 1st, the entrance to the most famous courtyard in the world will change.
Here's everything you need to know to be prepared.
If you’re planning your stay in Verona at the Albergo Fontana, there’s some important news regarding our city’s most iconic monument: Juliet’s House. To make your visit smoother and more enjoyable, the City of Verona has introduced a new access system that will come into effect soon.
📍 The new feature: You enter from the Teatro Nuovo
Forget the old queues on Via Cappello. Starting April 1, 2026, the only way to access the Courtyard and Juliet’s House will be through the Teatro Nuovo entrance in Piazzetta Navona.
This new route has been designed to better manage traffic and allow you to enjoy the magic of the balcony with greater peace of mind.
🎟️ Tickets and Reservations: What do you need to know?
€5.00: Teatro Nuovo + Courtyard Tour (to see the balcony and statue).
- €12.00: Complete Tour (Teatro Nuovo + Courtyard + Interior of Juliet’s House).
Who gets in free?
- Children up to 5 years old.
- People with disabilities and their companion (with a Disability Card).
- Tour guides with groups.
- VeronaCard holders: Admission remains free, but please note: online reservations are still required!
💡Albergo Fontana's tips for a perfect visit
- Book in advance: Seats sell out quickly, especially on weekends. Use the official Verona Midaticket portal.
- Best time: Try to book early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid larger groups.
- How to get there from our hotel: From our hotel opposite Borgo Trento Hospital, you can reach the city center with a pleasant 20-minute walk or by taking the direct bus lines that stop just steps from the reception.
